We thought the location was ideal for what we wanted – very central and within walking distance of all 'sightseeing' places…The apartment 5a itself was perfect for what we wanted and just as you had described it: we were looking for somewhere a bit different and yet luxurious which is what it was, very minimalist and a great place to get away to. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities because we ate out such a lot but they looked idal. We’ve recommended your apartments and company to everyone we know. Thanks for your help.

We stayed in apartment 1a and it was ideal for our 4 day stay in town,great location for sightseeing being so central to the 'real Barcelona'. We had a couple of good nights at the 'Jamboree' Jazz club which is just around the corner in the beauitifull plaza. Not a club as we in the UK know it simply a small seated sort of auditorium with artists of the night coming on at 9pm for one performance then again at 11pm seperate, artists were good worth a visit. Got off the red tour bus which was fantastic way of seeing the city and Gaudi house worth a visit, then just opposite down a side road found patisserie/restaurant Maurie which was superb for food value and atmosphere sitting outside, lovely upmarket change from downtown.

Apartment was perfect with all we needed for our stay and your guy Jordi who collected us from the airport was very helpfull.

Would recommend this apartment to everyone travelling to Barcelona city. Get up to that fantastic indoor food market on the left of Ramlas only couple of hundred yards from apartment, wonderfull foods fish and fruit there to take back to apartment, bakery just across the street for all fresh bakery stuff open from about 6-30am!

Speedboat ride good and cheap at the portside bottom of Ramblas Took a train ride out to Sitges about 45mins what a lovely place away from the hustle bustle of Barca… spent all day there from 10am got back at midnight loads of trains very clean and efficient, great seafront restuarants out there, easy train ride from 'estacio de França' which is within walking distance 15 mins. Fare was only 9 Euros return!

This apartment (4a) is unusually spacious for a one bedroom apartment and very cool with a balcony giving onto the bustling, eclectic scene that is C/Regomir. We found excellent furnishings and equipment. The kitchen is particularly well supplied – the cookware, cutlery, crockery and glassware being plentiful and very good quality.

The quietness of the bedroom and the comfort of the bed were greatly appreciated. Once the windows are closed you are cocooned in. The free wi-fi was used to great advantage not only in planning our days, but to research some of the wonderful and unexpected things we discovered along the way.

The highlight of many excellent Barcelona experiences for us was a wonderful recital at the beautiful old church, Iglesia de Santa Anna, by the Barcelona Duo de Guitarra – followed by wine in the 15th century cloisters. Walking home through the beautiful streets of the Barrio Gothic lit by stunning street lamps just added to the magic.

In terms of food, I would like to add our strong recommendation of Taller de Tapas. We went to the one near Santa Maria del Mar – it was excellent and very moderately priced.

It was very easy to book, pay and arrange to be met by the 'greeter'.

We took apartment 2b, as it was the cheaperst but found the apartment very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Location was great and we just loved exploring the nearby streets of the Gothic quarter with their shops, restaurants and bars and wonderful old buildings. The metro was close by which allowed us to get to further afield easily. The quietness of the bedroom and the comfort of the bed were greatly appreciated. All in all a great short break, made so easy by Claire and her team.
